Ultimate Tips for CELPIP Reading Task 1

CELPIP Reading Task 1: Reading Correspondence

Reading correspondence is one of the four components of the CELPIP reading test and consists of two tasks:

 ·         The first task requires you to read a text (a letter or an email) and to answer six questions about the text.

 ·
The second task involves reading a short reply from the recipient of the original letter/email. The content of the letter/email has five blanks, and your task is to fill in the blanks by selecting the correct word/s from the given choices.

The letter/email can be about any subject that people would normally discuss in a typical conversation. This reading task takes about 11 minutes and measures how well you can understand what you read in personal, social, and workplace contexts.
